About Us

Dylan Posgate and Paul Villenave, good friends and Toronto-based filmmakers, joined forces to create 241 Pictures after realizing that making movies is an incredibly difficult and expensive task on your own. Their creative partnership was originally cemented during their undergrad years at York University, where their taste for Dardenne, Safdie, and Coen brothers brought them together. Though not brothers themselves—with Paul hailing from France and Dylan from Canada—their partnership has proven fruitful as together they've directed 3 shorts films.
